This is a Kaffe Fassett inspired quilt design with a few of his fabrics. My neighbor watched my cats while I was in Hawaii so I promised her a quilt for her graduation from Natomas H.S. but she is now in her second year at Sacramento City Collage. I was not happy with how this turned out so I added the side panels and the pretty butterfly fabric on the botton. This is my hope that she, a girl Becoming a woman, can transform into a star. Or what ever she wants to become.
Hooray!! So happy that you finished it! That must be such a relief, now you can move on to other things. It looks fantastic!!
